Name - Zara

Breed - Syrian hamster

Colour- Dark golden

Sex- Female

Date of birth -

History- Rescued from neglect, Zara was rescued with her partner barney sadly they were being kept together and both had bite wounds on them. Zara has scaring on her face and has torn ears and eye lids. Before zara came to us she had just recently had a litter of  babies the day after she arrived she gave birth to 14 healthy babies born on the 27th may 2010. This was a lot of strain on her as she had previously 4 - 5 weeks before given birth to 6 and now was having to feed 14 babies and because the litter was so big it was alot more work even though she was given lots of good food to help her feed she still lost a little weight. She will now be able to bild her weight back up as her babies are old enough now and she will never be bred again. She can now relax and take it easy for the rest of her life. She has done a great job with her babies.
